Hi, I’m Jenna!

Welcome to the site! I am the creator behind Fox and Spruce (along with lots of inspiration from my husband and kids!)

As a former physical education teacher and fitness instructor turned homeschool mom, my passion is to teach my children about the wonderful world around them in a fun and active way. I want them to dig deep in their interests and develop a love for learning while making subjects fun! My love for learning and educating my kids inspired me to create this website and to develop educational learning resources so that you if those are your passions as well, you can use these resources to make that easier!

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Tim, for ten years now! We met at church one day and knew very quickly that marriage was in our future. As I write this, we have 3 children and 1 more on the way! As Christians, God plays the biggest role in our lives. I will not shy away from that on this website because we praise Him daily in our lives. Not all of the resources I make will be scripture based but there will be a mix of both.
